Your earnings from video ads will depend on the pricing of the specific video ads you display. Video ads can be either cost-per-click or cost-per-thousand-impressions. When paid on a CPC basis, you'll receive earnings for each valid clickthrough on ad -- that is, a click on the display URL or playing video that directs a user to the advertisers' website. When paid on a CPM basis, you'll be paid for impressions of the opening image, rather than plays of the video.

During playback on normal flat display the viewer has control of the viewing direction like a panorama. It can also be played on a displays or projectors arranged in a sphere or some part of a sphere.

This greatly increases your chances of creating an ad that resonates with your target audience.

Quik is from a newer generation of video editor apps. It's halfway decent if you need something simple. The way it works is you add up to 50 photos and video clips into the app. The app then analyzes them and spits out a short video from them. Quik contains about two dozen video styles and you can re-order and customize your video before you export it. It’s not nearly as powerful as something like Adobe Premiere Clip or PowerDirector, but not everyone needs something that intense. It's free to download with no in-app purchases.
If you’ve got a fitness app, you might have segmented your potential audience into 2 groups. Men who want to get huge lifting weights, and men who want to get ready for a marathon. As you can imagine, they have completely different goals, and their interests and behaviour will reflect that. You need to take this into consideration when you create your images.
